This is not boilerplate copied from a template. It is the actual list of what happens when you visit this site.
What I do not do
- I do not sell or share your data with anyone for advertising.
- There are no ads and no advertising trackers.
- No account or signup is needed to read anything.
What I do collect
Visit analytics
I use a third-party analytics service to see how many people visit and which pages they read. That sets cookies in your browser and collects usage data: pages viewed, approximate country, device type and where you came from. That provider acts as the processor of that data.
I do not use it to identify you personally, and I do not join it to your email address.
If you would rather not appear, any tracker blocker will stop it, and the site works exactly the same.
If you subscribe
If you leave your email, it is stored with the newsletter platform I use, along with the language you picked and a tag marking that you arrived via SIMoment. I use it only to send you updates.
The form posts to an endpoint on wandabuilds.ai, which is my own site. Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and using it removes you from the list.
If you write to me
The contact form sends your name, email and message to my inbox by email. I keep them as long as needed to reply. They are not added to the newsletter.
Videos
Videos on the home page and in articles do not load until you click. Until then you only see a thumbnail. When you play one it loads from the video platform in its reduced-tracking mode, and that platform's terms apply from that point on.
Hosting
The site is hosted with a hosting and CDN provider, which handles requests and keeps technical logs (IP address, time, browser) to serve the pages and protect them from attacks.
Your rights
You can ask me what data of yours I hold, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to me and I will. You do not have to explain why.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, these are rights the GDPR gives you, not a favour.
Children
This site is not aimed at children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, I change the date above and say what changed. I do not rewrite it silently.
